It's too bad the service was lacking. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated with large photos of local wildlife.
Think I'll just get dessert to go next time...
Enjoyed a delicious Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings. Yummy pie. Reasonably priced.
The food ,or I should say my meal , was much less than desirable... Hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and carrots... Very tasteless, mushy carrots. Thin slice of turkey loaf on wonder bread...
It's too bad I didn't start with dessert... Their pies and cream puffs look amazing... Homemade and calling my name...

6 a.m. this restaurant is full of people and the poor waitress heads to tell everyone that walks in that the cook isn't here yet he's late. The cook should have been here at 5 prepping. She called him he's on the way apparently. I wonder how long after he gets here it will take to get our food? He still has to light the grill and do everything he was supposed to do at 5. Not impressed at all.
The food is not the best for the money you pay. This is a good place to stop at after the trip up from Bangor. Fill up with gas and grab a bite to eat. Trucks fill up and get refreshed. Not much else going to do that.
